1.What is the admission criterion in the hostel ?
Hostel facility is available to the students from Class VI onwards.
Candidates already studying in a Kendriya Vidyalaya can apply for admission in another Kendriya Vidyalaya with hostel facility.
Other candidates desirous of seeking fresh admission in a Kendriya Vidyalaya with hostel facility will be admitted if otherwise found eligible as per Admission Guidelines subject to the availability of seats.

3.What facilities are provided to the hostlers … ?
The Vidyalaya provides the hostlers one cot, one almirah, one table and one chair for their lodging and studies. The inmates of hostels are also provided Reading Room, TV Cable connection, Recreation Room with facilities for Indoor Games etc. The Principal and the warden monitor the progress and achievement of the hostlers.
4.What is the fee structure in the hostel ?
The following is the fee structure in the hostel:
Refundable security deposit of Rs.2000/-.
Non-refundable admission fee of Rs.500/-.
Monthly room rent per student (inclusive of water & electricity charges) :
Rs.300/- for double sharing room.
Rs.200/- for a seat in the dormitory.
5.What are the mess charges for the hostlers … ?
Mess charges vary from hostel to hostel depending upon the cost of food articles.
6.Whether the parents are allowed to meet their wards … ?
Yes they can meet their wards on weekends in the afternoon.

Admission to KV School hostel
Parent / Guardian of the Children belonging to the above notified areas may contact the Principals of the above mentioned KVs for getting admission to KVASC and the hostel attached to it. Principals of these schools will grant admission to the school and hostel after confirming the vacancy at KV ASC Girls hostel over phone. Once admission has been granted, the vacancy in the hostel will be blocked. The guardian and the student will be directed to report to the concerned school with the admission papers. After seeking fresh admission to the hostel, the students will not be granted transfer certificate for a period of 2 years or till the completion of their higher secondary studies, whichever is earlier.
Parents/Guardians belonging to any other areas may contact the Principal, KVASC , Bangalore directly.
Catering is provided by private caterers as per the menu decided by the Committee of hostel inmates in consultation with the warden. The approximate mess charges per month is Rs.1800 – Rs.2000. In addition to the mess expenditure students will also have to pay the following charges.

In order to attract large number of students from remote areas, admission to this hostel and school will be granted by the notified schools identified in the States from where the children are coming so that any child coming from such areas is assured of admission to the school and the hostel.
