Sub: Reporting, Reviewing and Accepting Authority for the Confidential Report in respect of Chief Vigilance Officers working in the Public Sector Undertakings/Organisations.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM No.122/1/93-AVD dated 31 May, 1993, on the above subject (copy enclosed), whereby instructions were issued for reporting, reviewing and acceptance of the ACRs of the CVOs working in the PSEs/Organisations. It has been brought to the notice of this Department by the CVC that the instructions are not being adhered to.

2. The above instructions of this Department are hereby reiterated for strict compliance by all concerned. The Schedule for completion of PARs of All India Service Officers as prescribed under the All India Services (Performance Appraisal Report) Rules, 2007, and in the DOPT instructions issued vide O.M.NO.21011/02/2009-EStt.(A) dated 16th February, 2009, should be strictly adhered to.

3. Ministry of Agriculture, etc., are requested to circulate the above instructions to all concerned PSEs/Organisations under their administrative control for guidance and strict compliance.
