           DOP&T (Department of Personnel and Training) has now been re publishing lot of information and the orders in its website ‘www.persmin.nic.in’ regarding Reservation Policy for Central Government employees.

       Thousands of employees and the Trade union leaders are searching every day for the information and orders regarding the Reservation Policy. Need not to say these are all not only highly informative but it is very important that every govt servant should be aware of it. More than 280 Office Memorandums , highlighted in that site,starting with the year of 1950, speak only about the reservation policy. The key subjects of these orders are Reservation, Age relaxation, Travelling allowance etc,. Persmin uploads many important orders regarding the Reservation Policy regularly.So keep watching it.

  1. It is good that GOI has brought out a Brochure – comprehensive consolidated instructions / guidelines pertaining to SCs/STs/OBCs. Earlier, there was no specific instruction regarding “Forwarding of Applications OBCs as in the case of SCs/STs” (ref. page 68 Chapter 10 of said Brochure), though it was implied as OBC reservation can not be utilised by any Govt. employee without forwarding his / her application. It was a sheer mockery on Constitution of India by many Govt. Officials. I was one of those greatly victimised employees in this regard by not forwarding employment applications by my CPSE due to Administrative Reason – all the times for last 16 years.Such an barbaric and adamant attitude, which I have come crossed for not utilising OBC Reservation for higher positions nor encouraged for internal growth. Let us see how this order be implemented now in letter and spirit by Govt. Organisations /CPSEs.
