Subject: Promotion of LDC as UDC of Central Secretariat Clerical Service (CSCS) on ad-hoc basis-Continuance of Ad-hoc appointments regarding.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s 0M. No. 3/2/2010-CS.II dated 28th December, 2011 whereby cadre units were permitted to continue the ad-hoc appointments in the UD Grade of CSCS up to 30.06.2012 and to say that the continuation of the ad-hoc appointments in the U.D grade made by the cadre units has been reviewed in this Department. Since availability of regular UDCs through normal modes of recruitment prescribed under the CSCS Rules may take some more time, it has been decided that the period of ad-hoc appointment of those UDCs,who already have been working as UDC on ad-hoc basis in the UD Grade of CSCS may be extended up to 315t December, 2012 or till regular UDCs become available, whichever is earlier.

2. Other terms and conditions mentioned in this Department’s O.M. No. 3/6/2004-CS.II dated 28.2.2005 will remain unchanged.

    Respected Sirs of DOPT, New Delhi.

    I am to request the higher authorities of DOPT, New Delhi, the same may kindly be extended to the Subordinate Cadre Ministerial Staff, i.e., Field Formations/ Field Offices. Why? Because

    1. One who has appointed as LDC or Stenographer Gr.III has to wait nearly 15-20 years for getting promotion as UDC and Stenographer Gr.II respectively.
    2. For an example, I was appointed as Stenographer Gr.III on 12/04/1983 (FN) and got promotion as Stenographer Gr.II on 20/03/2000enographer Gr.I, which is equivalent to the post of Grade “C” Stenographer (Personal Assistant) of CSS Cadre).
    3. Further, the Stenographer Grade “C” (Personal Assistant) of CSS Cadre is drawing the Grade Pay of Rs.4800/- w.e.f. 01/09/2008 (Who completed more than 20 years servie) and at the same, the Stenographer Grade II of Subordinate Cadre Ministerial Staff of Field Formations/Field Offices is drawing the Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-only.

    Is is Genuine and Jystice? Can nybody else clarify and do justice?

    I am to request the higher authorities of DOPT kindly look into the matter nd do justice.

    I request the other Stenographers Gr.II and Stenographers Gr.I of Subordinate Cadre Ministerial Staff to offer/give their valuable suggestions/comments in this regard.
