NMC urged 7th Pay Commission to submit the Report Soon

National Mazdoor Conference is a front runner in demanding either it was Constitution of 7th pay commission or submission of 7th pay commission report. In July 2013, NMC had urged the then Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to appoint the 7th pay commission. 

Now its voice is again for submission of 7th pay commission report since the stipulated time has been ended on 30th September 2015. The news published in Local News website claims that NMC has urged the 7th Pay commission to submit the report soon. The news item is given below..

Submit 7th Pay Commission report to Centre: NMC urges Chairman

President, National Mazdoor Conference (NMC), Subash Shastri on Sunday urged Chairman of the Seventh Pay Commission (Retd) Justice Ashok Mathur to expedite submission of the report to the NDA Government in the Centre as the stipulated time frame has ended on 30th September.

Talking to media persons, Shastri pointed out to incorporate the provision of funds for implementing the recommendation simultaneously in J and K State along with other states in the report itself.

He said that salaried class pensioners have high expectations from the Seventh Pay Commission, to heave a sigh of relief in the present era of inflationary situation, so that likely benefits reaches to the salaried class and pensioners without any struggle on this issue like in the past.

While justifying the demand for regularization of 61,000 daily rated workers in one go, Shastri urged the Chief Minister Mufti Mohd Sayeed and his all cabinet colleagues and legislature of both houses to take sympathetic and humanitarian approach to solve this sensitive issue which is pending for decades.

He hoped that the Government will settle the issue and announcement in this regards will be made in the current session of assembly. So that confusion and uncertainty among 61 thousand daily rated workers could come to end.
Setting up of State Labour Advisory Welfare Board, include Jammu City as Smart City, remove all pay anomalies of clerical staff in SRO 1993, strictly implementing CP Fund deduction scheme in all departments of the state government pensionary benefit to employees and workers of the public sector undertaking, enhancement in the emoluments of daily rated workers to Rs. 10,000 per month, besides enhancing medical allowance to Rs. 1,000 per month were other demands highlighted on this occasion.

Rajan Babu Khajuria, B.S Jamwal, Sunil Kochhar, Paramjit, Sudesh Bhagat, Swarn Bhagat, Vijay Bhagat, Girdhari Bhagat, Sukhdev Singh, Sham Lal, Bhupinder Singh, Mohan Lal and Barkat Ram were also present.
