Voluntary Retirement by CRPF Personnel

The details of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Personnel who took voluntary retirement during 2009-2010 are as under:-

2009 —3587
2010 —2812

Generally, the CAPF personnel have cited personal/domestic problems as reasons for seeking voluntary retirement.

Following steps have been taken by the Government to deal with the situation:-

Implementing a transparent leave policy;
Regular interaction, both formal and informal, among commanders, officers and troops;
Revamping of grievances redressal machinery;
Provision of basic amenities/facilities for troops and their families;
Better medical facilities for troops and their families;
Increased Risk, Hardship and other allowances;
Provision of STD telephone facilities to the troops to facilitate being in touch with their family members and to reduce tension in the remote locations;
Yoga Classes for better stress management;
Recreational and sports facilities etc.;
Central Police Centeen facilities to the troops and their families ; etc.

This was stated by the Minister of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Shri Jitendra Singh, in written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha today.

  1. Handsome salary, allowances, facilities and promotion prospects to force personnel should be given keeping in view of tough duty and important duty they performed so that job of job of the force can be attracted by intelligent and educated UN-employed youth.

    i am retired person of crpf . I wanted to do more service but there very harrasment for a simple man there very bad administrator these days . No can see /try to solve problems

  3. more Crpf personals taken retairment in those day, the reason of volentry retairment , firstly they were not spent with families in 20 years his service, next one they were spent in field service 12 or 15 yeras all personals, static posting period few years, medical facilities centres very few, accommidation for jawans very poor qulity.

    I WAS ENROLLED IN BSF IN 1998 AS A CONSTABLE AND I REAPPOINTED AS HC/WKSP IN 2007,DURING MY FIXATION THEY ARE INCLUDED THE NATIONAL INCREAMENT RS 100/- WHEREAS WHO ARE ENROLLED WITH SAME CASE IN OTHER FTR, THEY GOT NATIONAL INCREAMENT, YOU ARE REQUEST TO CLARIFY, WHETHER NATIONAL INCREMENT APPLICABLE OR NOT MY CASE PLEASE.
